Principles of the product effects based on current scientific knowledge:
Yucca schidigera contains large amount of saponin – a substance with an intensive cleaning ability and detoxicative effect, it therefore works as a "natural body scavenger". This plant contains two types of saponins – water soluble (stearan) and water insoluble (terpenten). Stearan saponins bind to cholesterol and create an insoluble substance which therefore cannot be absorbed into blood. This is the reason of decreased cholesterol levels in blood. Terpenten saponins are able to get in the blood through the digestive system and are transported to all body regions. Yucca is effective in the intestine, blood, kidneys, gall-bladder – and it detoxicates the organism.
Lecithin is a natural substance derived from soya, which is well known for its positive effects on cholesterol decrease in blood and heart protection. By decreasing the cholesterol levels, lecithin enhances the phosfatidylcholine-cholesterol ratio in cell membranes and works against formation of cholesterol plaques in vessels (atherosclerosis).
Folic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 are B-group vitamins, which help to maintain cardiovascular system healthy by decreasing homocysteine levels in plasma. Homocysteine is an amino acid, which plays the main role in process of atherosclerotic and thrombocitic diseases genesis.
